Privacy Policy
Effective 14 October 2026
This policy describes how Kreatix collects, uses and retains information when you use Mate. It covers the web, iOS and Android apps, the Telegram Mini App, and Mate’s Telegram and WhatsApp connections.
What we collect
- Account details: your username, verified email address if you provide one, a hashed password if you set one, passkey public keys, and your Kreatix account ID if you use Kreatix sign-in.
- Linked messaging accounts: your Telegram or WhatsApp ID and display name, if you link or message the bot.
- Your content: messages, attachments, memory notes, scheduled tasks, connected MCP services, API keys you supply, and files in Storage.
- Agent activity: tool activity and results, including web content accessed for your tasks and files created on your behalf.
- Usage and security data: token counts, request times, IP addresses, and error and audit logs. These support usage controls, abuse prevention and troubleshooting.
We do not use advertising trackers or sell your data.
How we use it
- To provide Mate’s features, including responses, saved memory, scheduled tasks and file storage.
- To protect accounts and prevent spam and abuse.
- To diagnose errors and maintain the service.
We do not use your conversations or files to train AI models.
Google and Gmail connections
Gmail connections are currently disabled. Previously stored OAuth credentials remain encrypted and are not used while the feature is disabled. Mate does not access mailboxes or send messages through Gmail during this period.
When the connection was available, mailbox tasks involved access to the mailbox address and the message identifiers, headers, recipients and content needed for a request. OAuth credentials were stored encrypted and associated with the authorizing Mate account; mailbox access was limited to that account.
Relevant email content was processed by Mate’s AI inference providers when needed to carry out a request. Email content already included in conversations, tool results or memory remains subject to the same retention and deletion controls as other Mate content. We do not use Google user data to train or fine-tune AI models, sell it or use it for advertising.
You can revoke Mate's authorization in your Google Account connections. Revoking authorization does not delete email content already included in your Mate conversations or memory. To request deletion of your stored credentials or email content, contact info@kreatix.dev.
Mate's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Who processes your data
Kreatix operates Mate with service providers that process data to provide the service, rather than for their own purposes.
Tasks involving external websites, tools or connected MCP services send the information needed for that task to the relevant service. Kreatix Account processes your sign-in when you use it to access Mate.
How long we keep it
- Account information, memory, tasks and Storage files are retained until you delete them or request account deletion.
- Older chat history that Mate has already summarized is deleted after 30 days. Summaries are retained to preserve conversation context.
- Database backups are kept for 14 days.
Your choices
- You can delete memory notes, scheduled tasks, passkeys and Storage files in Mate.
- To request a copy or correction of your data, or deletion of your account and its data, contact info@kreatix.dev from your account email or include your username. Backups containing your data expire within 14 days after deletion.
Security
Connections use HTTPS, passwords are hashed, and users’ tools run in separate, isolated environments. These protections cannot eliminate every security risk. Consider the sensitivity of information before sharing it with Mate.
Children
Mate is not intended for children under 13 or below the minimum age for digital services in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
Updates to this policy are reflected in the effective date above. Significant changes will be communicated in Mate.
